Having decided now not to make soup I became my thoughts to what else I should pull together out of the components I had in the residence. I’m also really trying to keep cash, and that i’m looking to be higher at the use of what i have within the fridge before it goes terrible! Ingredients


  • 6x White Potatoes (e.g. Maris Piper, King Edward)
  • 4x Leeks (washed)
  • 1 Pint Chicken/Vegetable Stock
  • 4x Rashers of Bacon
  • 140g Grated Cheddar Cheese (HexA x 4)
  • Salt & Pepper (to taste)

Instructions


  1. Preheat your oven to one hundred eighty levels. Peel and wash the potatoes.
  2. Chop the potatoes into medium sized chunks, approximately one inch squared however no want to be precise as this dish is rustic. Slice the leeks into portions approximately 2cm long.

  8. put off from the oven and take off the tinfoil. Scatter the Baron Verulam bits over the top, season on your flavor and placed again into the oven exposed for a similarly 20 mins.
  9. put off from the oven again and scatter over the cheese, dispensing lightly, and bake for a similarly 5-10 minutes till the cheese has melted.
  10. Serve warm or cold!
