Italian Food "Tortellini" Recipe

Tortellini is a ring-shaped paste, sometimes also described as "shaped like a belly button", so the alternative name of this paste is "belly button" (ombelico). This pasta is usually filled with a mixture of meat (pork loin, prosciutto) or cheese.

Tortellini ingredients:

  • 14 ounces of vegetable stock
  • 2 tablespoons of versatile flour
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 3 cloves of sliced garlic
  • 1 cup grated fontina cheese or 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp fresh tarragon or 1 tsp dry tarragon
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 4 cups of chopped vegetables, consisting of broccoli, carrots, peas
  • 16 ounces of frozen cheese tortellini

How to Make Tortellini:

1. Cook the water in the pan.



2. Stir in the broth and flour in a small bowl. Heat oil in a large skillet.


3. Add the garlic and cook, stirring until browned. Add the broth mixture to it, let it boil. Reduce the heat, add cheese, tarragon, and salt.


4. Put the vegetables and tortellini in hot water, cook until they are soft. Drain.


5. Put it in the pan together with the sauce and stir until it is mixed.


Lift and serve.
